Need even more output power? We also offer custom control cabinet solutions. Here, there are practically no limits on the number of zones and the output power level for the overall system. Where the top RT products end at 400V and at 25 A depending on the variant, control cabinets can also be fitted with 1000 A breaking capacity. Implementing requirements optimally and striving for continuous perfection
The increasing complexity of industrial plant and, contrarily, intuitive operation of these systems, is at the heart of our work. The controlled systems are becoming more complex and are posing constantly new challenges for the control. For example, the industrial trace heating area with its sometimes-numerous heating phases, delays and dead times in the controlled system. Rapid heating phases are combined with slow heating phases with different insulation materials.
With this controller generation we are setting new standards. The ideal case is to be able to achieve optimum control results with one button. With automatic self-optimising, the controller analyses the controlled system and adjusts the parameters optimally. There are however many custom applications: compound heating, cascading or time and output-delayed heating phases, e.g., for heating mantles, ensure that the sensitive glass cube is not destroyed by glass stresses. There is a huge range of possible applications. We will also gladly translate your individual requirements into a solution.

Few, clearly defined input options for the user, logical menu structures designed to reflect human thought processes and clear accurate information display with corresponding feedback signals are the requirements for intuitive operation.

PID controllers with power outputs for all sizes
The right system for the right use case. ELOTECH offers the compact hot runner controls in three expansion phases: RT1000, RT4000 and RT7000. All three systems have the same PID-control algorithms. As standard we offer you the RT7000 control with up to 32 zones. In addition, two of the 32 zone units are cascadable, so that they can be used, for example, as higher-level controls for compound heating. Need more zones? Here again we offer corresponding custom solutions. As multi-zone controller specialists in the industrial environment we can also implement custom solutions for you. Our largest PID controller application includes several hundred control zones.

The new style of operation<br/><br/>The integrated Web-Server or the VNC-Viewer APP are respectively available for the RT4000 and RT7000 family for "remote control" functions. Implementation is ridiculously easy. With a nano WLAN router, you can operate systems remotely, integrate them into other systems and carry out control and maintenance without complex wiring. You therefore stay up to date on what is happening at all times and can intervene as and when necessary.<br/><br/>Use the ELOTECH hot runner control from your mobile phone, PDA or PC. PID controller with power output in custom format
Example: Multi-zone control for tool heating in a press.
In large industrial plants where high-powered heating is used, contactors are used as power controllers. In this case for example, 6 zones are wired respectively via separately contactors (total: 90 A at 230V / Phase). The complete system is designed for 80KW. The A4000 indicator operates as an additional monitoring system with separate sensors. At the customer's request, we integrated additional protection systems, such as individual fusing of each line. This "power controller" is used in a tool-making press.

16-zone PID controller cabinet
This solution is equipped with two 8-zone R4000s. The 16 x 25A solid state relays switch each zone up to 3.5 KW. Communication with the outside world takes place via a Profinet interface. Active cooling ensures the right climate. Each zone is also fused with B16A automatic circuit breakers and each controller also has two 50A fuses and a main switch. The planning, construction and testing of the switch cabinet takes place taking into consideration the following regulations: DGUV (BGV A3), VDE 0100 part 540, VDE 0113 (DIN EN 60204-1) and DIN EN 61439-1.
